ETH asks two questions of a bettor that a stablecoin does not. What does it cost to move? And what is it worth on the day the coins leave the sportsbook? The ranking handles the first through the operators' terms; the sections below handle the rest with the network's own documentation.

How to read the table: Vave keeps the first row of the best Ethereum betting sites, as it does on every board here. Below it, a written payout clock outranks a home-page promise, and a written ceiling outranks silence. Every verdict is Excellent or Good. The written order, line by line:

Four operators are missing on purpose. Metaspins prints ETH only inside a list of minimum bonus thresholds, clause 14.12, and that is not the same as a deposit list. Bitcasino.io, BetPlays and Shuffle keep their coins behind sign-in.

What gas costs a bettor

Every ETH transfer pays gas, and the gas is paid in ETH. Ethereum's own documentation splits the fee into two parts: a base fee set by the protocol, which is burned when the block is produced, and a priority fee, a tip that makes validators more willing to include your transaction. The total is the gas used multiplied by the sum of the two. Prices are quoted in gwei, and one gwei is one-billionth of an ETH.

The documentation prints no fixed price, because the base fee rises and falls with demand for block space. That has a direct effect on small stakes. If you plan to deposit 0.01 ETH at a time, a busy hour can turn a noticeable share of each deposit into fees. Two habits help: check the fee your wallet quotes before you confirm, and send fewer, larger deposits rather than many small ones.

The sportsbook does not set this fee and does not receive it. Any withdrawal charge an operator adds would sit in its own terms; none of the eight writes one as a number in what we read.

How fast an ETH deposit settles

Ethereum divides time into slots of 12 seconds and groups 32 slots into an epoch. A transaction is included in a block within a slot, and it becomes final once two checkpoints, which fall at the start of each epoch, are linked by a vote of at least two-thirds of staked ETH.

Cashiers do not publish how many blocks they wait for on ETH. Rocketpot writes 1 confirmation as its general deposit rule, clause 10.5, but does not split that out by coin. In practice, budget a few minutes rather than a few seconds, and do not place a deposit at kick-off and expect it to be on your balance by the first whistle.

Tether and other tokens on the same address

ERC-20 is Ethereum's standard for fungible tokens, which is how USDT, USDC and DAI travel on the network. The same documentation carries a warning a bettor should take seriously: tokens sent to a contract that was not built to handle them can be lost for good.

Rocketpot is the clearest cashier here on this point. It lists USDT on Ethereum separately from USDT on TRON, so you can see which chain an address belongs to before sending. Rakebit lists USDT, USDC, DAI and LINK beside ETH but does not say in its public list which chain each one uses. Everywhere else, choose the network on the deposit screen first, then copy the address, then check its first and last characters.

An ETH balance between stake and payout

ETH moves in price, and a bet can stay open for days, which is the part of the best Ethereum betting sites question no ranking can answer for you. Take an example: you deposit 0.5 ETH when one ETH buys 2,000 units of your home currency, so your balance is worth 1,000. An outright at 3.00 wins two weeks later. If ETH has fallen 10 % in the meantime, the coins you withdraw are worth 10 % less in your own money than the same win would have been at deposit time. A rise works the other way. The figures are illustrative, not a forecast.

Two rules in the terms make this sharper. Rocketpot pays only to the same coin and wallet you deposited from, clause 11.1, so an ETH deposit comes back as ETH. Rainbet sends withdrawals to the original method, clause 8.4. Swapping into a stablecoin inside the sportsbook is not something you can plan on.

Who pays the gas on an ETH deposit?

You do, as the sender. Ethereum charges gas in ETH, made up of a base fee that the protocol burns and an optional tip to the validator. Any charge a sportsbook adds on withdrawal sits in its own terms.

Can I send USDT on Ethereum to a sportsbook?

Only where the cashier takes it. Rocketpot is the one book here that names Tether on Ethereum as a separate entry. Elsewhere, pick the network on the deposit screen and match it to your wallet before you copy the address.

Why are Metaspins, Bitcasino.io, BetPlays and Shuffle missing?

Does the ETH price change my bet?
