Betting inside a chat window: what the bot is, and who holds the balance
Ranking · Telegram
A Telegram bot or mini app is a front door, not a sportsbook. This page explains how betting inside a chat works, what to check before you send coins through one, and ranks books on the lines that stay true whichever door you use.

The top Telegram crypto betting sites are ordinary sportsbooks reached through a chat window instead of a browser tab, and this page ranks seven of them on what stays true whichever way you reach them: whether the cashier takes TON, how sign-up works, when documents are asked for, and which register holds the licence. None of the operator records we hold mention a Telegram bot or mini app, so the ranking does not reward one. It tells you what to check if you meet one.
Betting inside a messenger feels different. The match chat, the tip channel and the bet slip sit two taps apart, and a deposit can be a QR code away. That convenience is real. So is the fact that a chat is a very easy place to impersonate a brand, and a very hard place to read terms and conditions.
How betting inside a chat works
Telegram's developer documentation describes two building blocks, and both matter to a bettor.
A bot is a program run by its developer. Telegram's servers carry the messages and handle encryption, but the bot itself is connected to its owner's server, which processes every input. When you type a command or press a button in a bot, you are talking to whoever runs that server.
A mini app is a web page opened inside Telegram. The documentation calls them HTML5 and JavaScript interfaces, launched from a keyboard button, an inline button, the menu button, the attachment menu or a direct link. In practice a sportsbook mini app is the operator's mobile site in a frame, with Telegram's window around it.
Two consequences follow. First, the balance is held by the sportsbook under its own terms, exactly as on the website; the chat app holds nothing. Second, anyone can build a bot or mini app that looks like a sportsbook. Telegram does not vouch for who is behind one.

The listing opens with Vave, as each board on this site does. TON-listing books come next, because TON is the coin a chat-first bettor is most likely to hold already. Below them, books where sign-up asks only for an email and no documents at registration, which keeps the start of a chat session short.

On a board of top Telegram crypto betting sites, read the licence column as your anchor. If a bot or mini app claims to be one of these books, the licence number it shows should match the one in this table, and the operator's website should link to it. Rakebit ranks second on TON alone; its sign-up method is not in our records, which is why the email-only books are not placed above it on that line.
What to check before you bet through a bot
A short list for anyone weighing the top Telegram crypto betting sites, in the order we would run it:
- Find the bot from the website, not the other way round. Open the sportsbook's site in a browser and follow its own link to Telegram. A bot found through search, a forwarded message or a tip channel may be anyone's.
- Ignore the username suffix. Telegram notes that some bots have no 'bot' ending and that collectible usernames can be assigned to bots. A convincing name proves nothing.
- Look for the terms. A real mini app should link to the same terms and licence as the website. If the terms are missing, or name a different company, stop.
- Check where the deposit address comes from. It should appear in the cashier, inside the mini app or on the site, never in a private message from an account offering help.
- Never share a recovery phrase or private key. No cashier needs one. A deposit only needs the address you send to.
- Compare a withdrawal with the website. After your first payout, confirm the balance and transaction match what the browser version shows.
The same checks apply to payment prompts. Telegram's documentation says mini apps can take payments through third-party providers and through Telegram Stars. A crypto sportsbook's deposit should go to the cashier address its own terms describe, not through a payment sheet you did not expect.
TON, USDT and the network you pick
Tether lists TON among the chains on which USDT is issued, alongside Tron, Ethereum, Solana and BNB Smart Chain, and says tokens on different chains should be treated equally. Equal in value, not interchangeable in transit: a deposit has to go out on a network the cashier lists for that coin, or it may not arrive.
That is the most common chat-betting mistake. A wallet inside a messenger often defaults to its home network, while a sportsbook's USDT address may sit on a different one. Before you send, read the network label next to the deposit address and match it in your wallet. Vave lists TON as a coin in its cashier, and so does Rakebit; for USDT, check which network each book's address uses on the day. Our USDT betting sites board and the TRON betting ranking cover the networks most bettors mix up.
Small, frequent deposits are typical in chat betting, so network cost matters. The low-deposit crypto betting board ranks books on the smallest amounts their cashiers accept.

A sportsbook in your messenger sits next to friends, groups and news, and its notifications arrive in the same stream. Telegram's documentation confirms that mini apps can send push notifications to users. Turn those off for any betting app, or mute the chat, so the prompt to bet comes from you and not from a badge on the screen. Set a deposit limit on the account before the first bet; the responsible play page lists the tools.
Where Vave fits
Vave sits first on this board and is one of two books here that list TON. Its cashier takes BTC, ETH, USDT, LTC, DOGE and TON, sign-up asks for an email with no documents at registration, and payouts are processed within up to three days under clause 8.1. It may ask for documents before any withdrawal and gives 14 days to reply. Its licence is with the Curaçao Gaming Authority under number OGL/2024/1676/0905, which is the number to compare against anything a chat shows you.
Other boards worth comparing
A chat window is a phone-first way to bet, so the crypto betting apps ranking is the closest neighbour. The no-KYC ranking goes deeper on the document column above. The decentralised crypto betting board covers a different idea of trust altogether. For the full picture, the crypto betting site rankings on our main board weigh every line together.
Among the top Telegram crypto betting sites, the bot is the least important part. The licence, the cashier and the terms behind it are what you are actually trusting, and those are the same whether you open them in a chat or a browser.
