- Rocketpot — the oldest brand on the board, trading since 2018, with Curaçao licence 1668/JAZ. Its register status is not in our record, which is why it sits last despite its age.
Three operators are left off. BetPlays publishes no licence number. DuckDice's Anjouan entry, as we recorded it, showed an expiry of 15 September 2026, so it needs a fresh check before it can return. CoinPoker and Bspin hold Anjouan licences, but we have no register dates for them.
How the NFL season sets the clock
The league's 2026 schedule runs 18 weeks and 272 games, with each team playing 17. It opened on Wednesday 9 September in Seattle, and on 10 September the first regular-season game in Australia was played at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. Week 18 closes the regular season on 9 and 10 January 2027 with 16 division games. Super Bowl LXI follows on Sunday 14 February 2027 at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood.
Put a futures bet beside that calendar. A stake on a Super Bowl winner placed on 6 October has more than four months to run. A division bet settles in early January. Even a bet on a team's win total waits for Week 18. Every one of those tickets assumes the operator will be trading, licensed and paying on the day it settles.
That is why the dates in this ranking of the best crypto NFL betting sites matter. Every expiry date we recorded on this board falls after Super Bowl LXI, but one only just: Rakebit's Anjouan record ends three days later. Licences are renewed all the time, so this is a note, not a warning. It is still worth a check on the register before you place a long ticket.
Checking a register entry yourself
You do not need to take our record of the best crypto NFL betting sites on trust, and a futures bettor should not. Four checks take a few minutes:
- The number. Copy the licence number from the sportsbook's footer and search for it on the regulator's public register.
- The holder. Compare the company named on the register with the company named in the site's terms. Wild.io is a useful example: its Anjouan record is held by Stack Gaming Ltd, while its Curaçao record names Nonce Gaming B.V.
- The status. Look for an active or valid marking, not just a listing.
- The dates. Where the register prints an expiry, set it against the date your bet settles.
A mismatch is not proof of anything on its own, since groups often hold licences through more than one company. It is a reason to read further before you commit a stake for a season.
Pricing a futures market
A futures market spreads the book's margin across many runners, much like a horse race. Here is an example of a four-team division market, with prices chosen for illustration only:

The total in this example is 105.52%, a margin of about five and a half points. A market for the Super Bowl winner has 32 teams, and the more runners there are, the more room a book has to shade each price, so the total there is usually higher. Game-week markets are tighter. Spreads and totals are usually priced close to even on both sides, and the moneyline is a simple two-way price. For those, a week-to-week bettor can afford to move between books; the licence question weighs less when the stake is only out for a few hours.

A futures stake is paid out in the coin it was placed in. If that coin moves sharply between October and February, the return in your home currency moves with it. A bet that wins at 8.00 in a coin that halves in value returns four times the original stake in dollar terms, not eight. A coin that rises does the reverse.
For that reason many futures bettors stake in a dollar-pegged coin, keeping the bet about the team rather than the market. The USDC board and the Ethereum board cover the two most common routes for a long hold. Holders who want price exposure can keep it; just know you are making two bets at once.
